Intel Xeon X5450 Quad Core 3.00GHz/12M/1333 CPU Processor (SLBBE)

Good CPU

The CPU itself is very good. I am running it on a 775 socket so I had to buy an adapter sticker and cut off a part of my socket to make it fit. Got it to work though which is good. My only concern is that the X5450 uses way more power than E5450 but perform exactly the same. However, I just needed the CPU to bring back life to an old desktop, which did the job, but that's because I have a power supply with a slightly higher wattage. For a few extra dollars I would recommend getting the E5450. If you want to cheap out, like me, and are sure that your power supply can definitely handle this CPU then definitely buy this.
