Too thin for open heat.
This hot plate... is just too thin to be used on gas flame. The thickness of the base is 3 mm and will easily warp.
Other than that it is very well made..it looks fantastic and huge. It firs perfectly on a 900 mm cooker.
I thought about returning it but instead I will take it to a stainless steel manufacturer to try and thicken the base by spot welding a 4 mm thick piece to it..

Works very well with grind adjustment..dosage adjustment.... I works with precision...
The LCD is extremely handy..
