Handy gadget
Saves my back picking ball out of hole. Secured by 3 screws so sturdy connection to grip. Quick delivery too, considering came from Hong Kong.

Nice relatively cheap product
I already have a similar product but this one captures at a higher bitrate and gives a very good HD picture. With a 64GB micro SD in USB 3 adapter I get 9+ hours of high quality HD picture. Everything is positioned nicely. The only negative to me was the instructions could be simpler, as it really is easy to use. The way I use it is to power it up with HDMI in connected but without the USB card plugged in, then when ready to capture (the light goes green when it comes on). I then plug the USB in (its light flickers as it is registering - takes a few seconds) and press the red button to start recording (the light goes red while recording). You either press the red button again to stop recording and the light goes green once the buffers have been cleared, or the light will go green when the USB card is full. I do not use the HDMI out as I use a 1 in 2 out HDMI splitter with one output to the TV and the other to the capture box. This saves messing about with cables. The splitter is self powering from the HDMI cable, so I only power the capture box up when needing to record but it is quick and simple to do with this arrangement. My old box could handle NTFS format (so can this box) but the old box produced one large file whereas this box produces a series of 2GB files (even with NTFS). You then have to merge the files (I use ffmpeg with 'concat' option for this).
