Doesn't help with making large amounts of deviled eggs.
1 of 1 found this helpful The mixing of all the ingredients takes place in the barrel of the syringe. So only enough mixture can be made at one time for a couple of eggs. I tried to make a larger amount in a bowl and add it a little at a time, but that didn't work either. The mixture must be extremely smooth, no chopped veggies or pickles. If you make deviled eggs with anything besides the egg yolk and mayonnaise it's too thick to go through the opening of the syringe. When pressure was applied to push the chunkier mixture through it's made a mess everywhere. The whole point of this was to make prettier deviled eggs for guests. I will just go back to using a scoop with a spoon.
