Equinox is a forgotten gem...
This game is quirky to operate, theres not a single line of speech ( that I know of!? ), the story line is simply 'get there from here', & its slow paced, puzzle work that often has to be done with pixel perfect precision in order to solve a puzzle & advance to another dungeon room where theres another puzzle just waiting for you. Whats not to like about that!?
So it isnt loud & flashy & it isnt for everyone but its still a great game
Also, it isnt very forgiving & if you dont do it all correctly your d.e.a.d.!
Thats one of the reasons it didnt succeed when it first came out. It was too hard. Its still too hard. But thats one of the things that make it a great game too.
Its also beautiful to look at, very cool to listen to & for a lot of people, a real challenge to solve & advance through. And IMHO its really a single player type game.
By the way, theres a couple of cheats for infinite lives & magic & so on & in all honesty, if it werent for those cheats I wouldve given up long ago. But now & then I plug it in for something completely different & advance one more room...

Just like being there. Sort of...
I havent had much of a chance to play this game & there is a lot I dont know about it.
It seems like a pretty cool game & Im looking forward to playing a few innings.
But the first thing that struck me when I turned it on was that all my memories of past games that Ive actually attended sort of came alive & I got that good feeling that only going to a real ball game gives you.
So that was cool...
