Good tech, but with problems

I had to buy this replacement because the original remote shattered. It doesn't feel like it but it's made of glass. Also, the thing to so symmetrical that I have to think about it every time I pick it up get it turned around the right way. Both shortcomings are well mitigated by a rubber case.

Good iron for the money

We use several of these soldering stations at work and they are our workhorses. The replacement handle part I purchase was just like the original. I docked it one star because, well, I had to buy a replacement! We've had a couple of these develop internal wiring problems. One iron stopped holding its tip tightly enough to use (tightening the thread-on sleeve didn't help).

Good but not great.

Remote is too small, too fragile, and has too many hidden functions for each button. Good product in general, though.
