Axus D2 Electric Piano

I did a LOT of reading/comparing a bewildering amount of pianos currently on the market. But kept coming back to the Axus D2. It is very well built (solid is probably more accurate!). Arrived very well packaged in 2 huge boxes. You WILL need at least 2 people to put it together. Instructions were of the pictorial type and easy enough to follow. I bought this for my 4 year old daughter, and she absolutely loves it!. The piano sound is superb, and the feel of the keys is really quite realistic. Her lessons have progressed so much quicker since she started using it. Although there are many other instruments to choose from, I'm making her concentrate on piano at the moment. The rhythm and accompaniment section is great too. Overall, this piano easily fulfils our requirements. Other makes around this end of the market seemed to offer less and want more money. Very happy with Normans and choosing this piano. Highly recommended.

Shuffle modes and battery aside, not a bad buy.

Good overall solid construction. Touch screen can sometimes be unresponsive (more of a "prod-screen" really). By far my biggest gripe is never being able to tell what play mode I'm in (repeat, shuffle, etc). The shuffle button icon never seems to change no matter how many times it's pressed so it's a case of see which track plays next to figure out if it's still shuffling!. Battery life isn't anything to right home about, and if it's used for a couple of hours each day (playing music) it'll be asking for more electricity after about 3 days. Doesn't seem to hold a charge for much longer if it's just sat in a draw either. Considering I was only looking for a MP3 player when I chose this one, the video player is a bonus. Pictures are nice and sharp, no delay or juddering. Overall, if you can figure out the shuffle modes I'd probably still recommend it.

Excellent addition to my TV. I can now actually hear voices much more clearly now. Not tried watching any movies using it yet, but normal TV programs really do benefit from it. Solid JVC build quality. Linked up via HDMI-ARC so LG TV remote controls it as well as TV. Looking forward to watching latest "Top Gun" movie through it at the weekend!. All in all, great seller, and excellent service. Many thanks indeed.
