Lovely quality but probably not the beginners instrument you were looking for
Beautiful instrument, very good quality but beware - often referred to as a beginners instrument but there are hardly any Alto/Treble Recorder books for beginners, they are nearly all for the Descant/Soprano recorder

Nothing else I've tried protects my hands anything like as well
A clockmaker, I use it every day, normally have to apply morning and afternoon, sometimes three times depending on how abrasive my work is. Non-greasy once dried (can take longer than they suggest...), works when handling dirty oily clocks or water-based cleaning solutions, sometimes everything just disappears when washing hands, but sometimes some substances still stain. I suffer from cracked skin/knuckles/fingertips if I forget to use it or it runs out, rarely do if I maintain use - also makes my hands less sensitive when using gloves a lot.
