The chair is not "new", its used....and been cleaned up a bit, and reboxed in different packaging.
12 of 12 found this helpful What does "new open box" mean? Does it mean the item comes used, but someone has re-attached an original chair label? Apparently yes. The floor casters have obviously been used, with someones hair all wound up in the rolling mechanism, and there are scuff marks on the base, where the chair has obviously been used.
