Great budget reel but near bulletproof
I got this to use out of my Hobie Outback as a virtually disposable reel as I've lost a few reels over the side in years gone by. I spooled it with 10lb Platypus Platinum & use it with soft plastics for whiting small snapper & big blue spotted flatties. This reel easily handles everything I've managed to fool into taking my offerings including a decent banjo shark . A pleasure to use with a lovely silky smooth drag. it requires simple maintenance of a regular wash under the tap at home & a very infrequent lube up. I even got the bigger 360 slammer to partner it. Equally as impressive.

A truly great unrecognised great singer up there with Bassey Ella & Connie
Timo Yuro's fabulous soaring vocals takes me to another level of listening pleasure. Whether it's driving on a long country road or listening with the headphones Timi is singing only to me. Her versions of standards like... Fever, Cry, Stardust, Smile & many others bring a different but better quality to the originals. While her very own Hurt & Make the World Go Away are filled with yearning aching emotion. Oh Timi wish I had seen you live. This gracious & humble lady was a fabulous singer & it's worth having this collection of her in your CD library

Great strong reliable hook with great hook up rate
I bought these in a 7/o & 5/o size to use on a very recent for trip beach & rock fishing at Eden NSW. Fish off the beach weren't biting so I tried off the rocks. There was a fairly large swell running, so much so that the visiting tourist ship couldn't allow passengers to disembark. Anyway lots of weed was present in my chosen spot & it was very snaggy. After losing some gear I decided to tie on another 7/o & use it under a big styrene float with a whole pilchard on it. I cast out about 30metres into some sudsy looking white water soon I got a huge bite & the float disappeared... I was on. It fought like a demon When I managed to get the float it in a bit closer I could see the fish under the water about 2 metres down, at first I thought it was a blue groper. Eventually I got it into the wash & beached it. There at my feet was the biggest yellow finned bream I'de ever seen. It measured 440mm long. I thought I'de see if there was another so after unhooking him I let the float fly out. Once again it took off, this time it went even harder. Lucky I was using 30lb braid with a 50lb fluoro leader otherwise it would have broken me off. it took longer to bring it in with lightning fast dashes & direction changes. It didn't tire out I just dragged it in. This time it was a bronze whaler shark about 1200mm long & there was the hook neatly in the corner of it's mouth. This wasn't a happy fish so I cut the line as near to the hook as I dared not get tasted by the snapping savage creatures jaws & he was off in a flash. I showed the bream to some of the locals & they reckon it was the biggest bream they'de seen & told me to enter it in the fishing competition that just happened to be on.
