A great sample of the Chicago based label Chess Records niche Rockabilly recordings rather than the blues the label was renoun for..
For lovers of Rockabilly this collection, being label specific, offers tracks not usually found on other compilations and will prove a great gate way to further explore the varied history of Rockabilly. Many would argue that the true hey day of US Rockabilly was the mid to late fifties, which is the time this collection chiefly hails from. Offering up thirty-two tracks over the two CD pack this collection displays a good variety of style within the genre and won't fail to give enjoyment to any one lucky enough to add it to their collection. Super Rare Rockabilly
Sometimes labels use the term "rare" as a way of selling either poor quality or just plain bad recordings. Not in this case what so ever.
