Blast from the past
I have the option to review this item, probably a waste of time as it is a 40 year old unit. I had the identical unit that I bought after High School graduation in 1977. It bit the dust this spring. It probably could have lasted longer but it became the base for my sound system on our screened in porch. I neglected to cover it this winter and...we get the full spectrum of weather in Virginia.
The unit is bit dated. In "the Day" we had phonograph players and tape decks. And that's about it for external equipment connection ability. It was long before CD's, DVD's Blu Rays, Home P.C's and surround sound systems. But the replacement unit is in excellent shape fir its age and it reminded me of a time years gone by. So if you need a basic unit for a record player, tape deck or CD player ( use the Auxiliary port, you cant go wrong with this Onkyo. That is if you can find one.

the best band you never heard!
this set lives up to the title.There are only a few official releases from FZ's 1988 band from his final rock music tour.They were all very talented musicians and Franks set list featured their amazing talent. That band rehearsed 10 hours a day 7 days a week for months before the tour started.Thet had 80 FZ songs to choose from for any show.
