just what I needed

With a single carb it was easy to get everything installed and the manifold gaskets were a plus. A good cleaning and new rubber seals and I'm all good

Not worth it

my old tv antenna (40 years old) does a better job. I actually lost channels installing this. If you put this on your tv and it is outside you need to have a solid piece of cable into the house, or change the connectors most coax barrel connectors (to connect cable pieces) have breaks in them. This also needs to be plugged into an outlet, so it sends a trickle charge up to the nit to boost the signal. (so when outside on a roof, it is like a charged lightning rod, becareful if hit it will bring the lightning right into the house and to your tv) . If the plug in is too far from the antenna unit is does not work at all, so you may need to run an extension cord up to it (again more chance of lightning hit) Mine is back in the box on a shelf.

Got it so I could save some money instead of renting.

This unit is outdated and would not work with the newer cable system requirements, after they told me it would, it did not. If you buy something like this to save you a few bucks, make 100% sure it will work with an updated system. Cable systems update theirs about every 6 months and throw out these things by the hand full. BEWARE
