Convenient and useful.
I have owned several of these recorders, but they do wear out after a year or so of use. The best thing about them is that you have to use external batteries instead of charging the recorder each time it wears down. With this machine one can carry extra batteries so that when one wears down, you replace it without having to stop using the machine while it charges. In other recorders, you essentially have to discard the thing once the internal battery is shot.
