Sleeping Dogs Definitive PS4 Game - Brand New!
14 July 2017
a really good game, but bogged down by technical issues.
what made this game slightly better then most of GTA clones are the unique hong kong locations and combat mechanics. the plot itsef takes heavy influences from undercover related movies such as Resovoir Dogs, Point Break and The Departed. the gameplay is the same as all open-world sand box games are: the cars, weapons, main objetive, side objective and others small tasks. however what makes this game more unique is the fighting mechanics. sure it does take cues from the recent batman games, and they do take some time to get used to because it's about timing. there also some parkour elments as well, the weapons work fine like in every third-person shooter. the game's only big neagative (which i removed the 1 star) is the technical and performance issues. the game's graphics (at least the facial models) look very early PS3 era, frame-rate dropping below 30, pop-ins, glitches and on my PS4 the game actually crashed on me twice. from what i read the definitive edition supposed to fix all these issues, but feels like they ported the pc version (which is the superior version) on the PS4 and Xbox one as "definitive edition" with all dlc on disc. not even a proper patch for console which is a shame. otherwise "Sleeping Dogs" is a very fun yet flawed game.

just watch the original film, better then watching the sequels
Future Cop (a.k.a Trancers) the complete six-disc movie collection includes all 6 films, starring Tim Thomerson ("Near Dark") and the Academy Award winner Helen Hunt on their journey though time to stop trancers from raising havoc in the city of los angeles from 1985 or the future. the "Future Cop/Trancers" Collection the Australian release is slightly better then the US release, for once they include all six films, and also for the first time the original film has an audio commentary from the creators of the first film. aside from that, everything else it's basically the same content as the US version. my biggest problem with this set, as the same with the us version is the quality of the films, very poor VHS/Laserdisc transfer which makes the film look blurry or recorded on VCR, the original film "Trancers" (1985) - despite it's low-budget production sometimes looks very silly, the plot is pure escapism, goofy concept about time traveling, cheesy dialogue and very pure 80's that makes the original film such a cult classic, main actors do really a decent job, and humor really works with the plot. the sequels on the other hand between mediocre to boring to really really bad. Trancers 2-3 - are watchable but not fun like the original. Trancers 4-5 - are so outlandish and boring, and why it takes place the middle ages? that only makes it even more goofy. Trancers 6 - PURE GARBAGE!!!, so cheap on the production they can't even afford the main actor and the script is just re-hash of the first film. the complete set is only recommended to die-hard fans of the series only.
Wolfenstein 3d (3DO, 1995), complete in original longbox!

Excellent port of the MS-DOS classic
Wolfenstein 3D on the 3DO is probably the best console port of the original. using high quality graphics, weapons, and exclusive "first encounter" levels from the Mac's version, with 3DO's exclusive CD quality music and bosses. the only minor problems i have with the game is the lack of map, since it's a corridor shooter you can easily get lost to the maze like areas which look almost identical and later levels are even more maze like, soundtrack itself is great but sadly a bit limited with maybe 5-6 tracks not to mention looping and repeating after few levels. still an amazing port, must have for 3DO collector's.
