Error Code c00f041
Purchased used, plugged it in ERROR codec00f041. Tried every aspect of keyboard entry to reset Nothing. Fixed it by beating it around a little, dropped from 1 foot for 3-4 times, shook it. Plugged in again and trouble gone...Just a helpful hint if all else fails.

The Dependable Motorola SURFboard SB4100 Cable Modem
2 of 2 found this helpful Pros: 5 years and still working great. No big bulky ac transformer. Easy to reset. provides data to 5 networked machines like a charm. Speed is constant 5Mbps-always.
Cons: According to tech support the modem does not report "ALL" data needed by the ISP provider, like the newer models do.(if this is a con) I don't know what data he is speaking of, but the less they know about your internet activity the better. So wait, this is a pro.
