Very pleasing sound
2 of 2 found this helpful The Motion 40 speaker simply has a beautiful, clear sound. I have the Motion 60XT's and the Motion 40s. Each has its strengths, and I'm not sure if I prefer one over the other. While the Motion 60 probably has a little more punch, it can tend to be little bit bright, which seems to more noticeable in my smaller room. The Motion 40 has a better vertical dispersion, and this can be verified in the specs (80 degrees in the Motion 40 vs 30 degrees in the Motion 60). The Motion 40 provides a clear powerful musical sound, and I highly recommend it. The base is strong, especially if driven with a decent amplifier. If you find it's not enough punch in the low end, a decent subwoofer will fix that right away. Right now I am playing the Motion 40s for music exclusively in Zone 2, and it sounds great, even without having added a sub woofer yet. I even used a motion 40 for a center Channel at one point, and it was excellent, even far better than the Motion 50XT as a center channel.

Identical to the original remote for my Marantz SR5010.
Identical to the original remote I lost for my Marantz SR5010. The design of this remote isn't extroardinary, and would benefit from having fewer buttons, but it gets the job.
