Oxford Hot grips
1 of 1 found this helpful After 4 years my genuine ( Japanese motorcycle manufacturer) heated grips failed. The switch cover had perished and allowed water to destroy the electronic bits. At one third the price of genuine replacements Oxford ticked all the boxes and my order was placed. 3 days later i was installing them. Instructions were easy to follow and installation could be as easy or difficult as you make it. I elected to route all the wiring under the tank and mount the controller to the dash. Difficult...ish. The only complaint I have is Oxford suggest you place the grips on the bars with the wires under the grip and I found my thumbs would get fouled while going for the blinker or the starter button so I would suggest going over. The heat from these grips is excellent and the battery saving mode is excellent as well. Comfortable to hold economical and not offensive to the eye what more do you need? I wonder if they last 4 years?
