Good closeup but marginal optics
0 of 1 found this helpful The closeup bifocal part of the lens works as expected, but the regular "clear" part of the glasses have some sort of distortion to them that they are only clear for distance vision. Closer in, around 2-5 feet, they are out of focus. Which is unfortunate because most of the things that you would use the closeup lenses for would be things you are working on up close. Working on my car and motorcycle, it's nice to have the closeup lenses to get a good clear look at details and small parts, but backing off a couple feet it's almost easier to see with the glasses off. It'd almost be easier to just wear a pair of cheaters reading glasses and peer over them when you don't need closeup.
