Optical zoom flexibility
Good quality and reasonable image given the optical zoom range and aps-c compatibility. The focal length range works well for most routine applications.

Good quality zoom lens for outdoor or well-lit locations
1 of 1 found this helpful Purchased this lens as an upgrade from a low-cost crop factor lens. By comparison, this lens is well-built and feels substantially more solid. It's larger than my previous zoom but this should be expected since this is a full frame lens.
Overall, I'm happy with this purchase. Better low light performance would be great but such lenses are typically substantially more expensive, heavier, and larger than this unit.
