Works as described and seller shipped it properly with no damages incurred.
It was clean and did what it was said to do. It appears to be accurate with
The built in temperature sensor indication . The optional external temperature sensor would indicate the block temperature if used as there is
a long lag for heating it up.
Overall it is a great price if you look at the VWR Scentific catalog. I inspected the internal wiring and found that the heating plate is heated by
Silicon heating tape with insulation surrounding the heating plate.
As stated you have to adjust the set point to get the desired block temperature. I believe the external temperature sensor is 450.00 for this
unit according to the catalog.
