It'll work, I hope.
The hour meter doesn't come with instructions for installation or use. I retro fitted it on a piece of equipment that didn't come with a meter. It appears to be working but I don't have the instructions for the "reset" button or any maintenance requirements.

review
Fits well and performed well. The engine had been tuned with a K&N High Flow filter and would "choke" (perform poorly) when the stock air filter was used. Replaced the stock filter with this one and it performed well.
