If it was damaged during shipment, it was shipped USPS Priority Mail and was covered by their insurance. If the clock is not damaged please insure that it is leveled and correctly wound when trying to start it. As stated in our item listings, these clocks are delicate and they can be jostled in the shipping process. Mechanical clocks should be adjusted by a professional after shipping.
