Don't expect the catch to last more than 9 months!

We've had two of these leads... neither of them have lasted more than 9 months - each time it's the catch mechanism which as broken. The rest of the lead is great, and I have not complaints about it, but if the same fault happens twice in the same time frame you begin to wonder.... It arrive on time, but I now can't contact them (they say due to high volume) to discuss a replacement.
