Cheap and can work with mods, longtime use unsure
It's a cheap chinese piece, you get what you pay for. You need to loctite the small screws so your engine dosen't eat them. The end on the cable fit fine in the last hole, but we needed to use the next to last. The cable end did not fit in that hole at all and some drilling of the outside hole and deepening of the inside hole was required to get the cable end in. Other than that it seems to work ok, tho it's only been on a few days. Good luck.

Like the original, but not better so probably won't last
1 of 1 found this helpful Seems to be the same as the original piece. Since the original broke after about a year and a half I bought the extended warranty for six bucks assuming this one won't last that long either.

Great knife and great value, perfect for every day
Great quality for a budget knife. It's not a Benchmade, but it's also not priced like one. It's small, light, thin and I believe legal in the republic of Chicago. I had one and lost it and liked it well enough to replace it. It's an all around great knife to carry every day.
