It works. I never thought I'd ever use an impact drive. Never. I was actually shopping for a brushless drill and read a few reviews on the brushless drill and impact driver set. Then someone mentioned lug nuts. I have cars, trailers, more trailer, tractors, you name it. I'm always taking off lug nuts. I hate taking off and putting on lug nuts. I've been doing it with a socket set my whole life. Bingo, I need an impact. First thing I used it for was driving oversized screws in while refastening my pole barn roof. Eurika, worlds better than a drill for running in fasteners. I'm always building decks and starways and other "screwed down stuff." An impact so far outperforms a drill it's silly. How I lived without one of these I'll never know.
