Well, it was my only choice cause it was the max CPU for my motherboard. So it offer a slight gain in performance.

2 of 2 found this helpful While this is a stand alone watch it will not completely work with every device. Any newer Samsung phone S6 and up (maybe as low as 4 or 5) and Note 5 and higher (maybe even 4) this watch WILL work flawless on using the Samsung Gear app, even without using as a stand alone. Now other devices without rooting NO. The best you can get is a Bluetooth connection completely losing most of the purpose of the smart watch's functions. DO NOT I repeat DO NOT get this watch unless you plan on using as a stand alone with a sim or you have a Samsung device that I listed above. I tried multiple times to with the Samsung Gear app on my LG V10 and nothing. The only way to pair these 2 is through Bluetooth. Funny thing is the Gear S2 Classic and silicone/active watch work fine through Samsung Gear on a non Samsung phone. So just mind that when purchasing one of the Samsung Gear watches.
