Handles are too loose
1 of 1 found this helpful It's not a bad product, it's just not great in my opinion. The arms and handles all continue to swing pretty freely even when the handles are tightened down (you can't easily tighten the arms that swing out at all). This leads to a pretty awkward feeling setup as nothing feels rigid, like something you can press against. That said, you can make it work, and for a beginner with a dslr or handycam, this would be a fun piece of gear to play with. One positive is that it makes your setup look pretty cool and professional. You go from being "Some guy with a camera" to "Someone working with a camera."

Perfect Do Everything Camera
I just LOVE this camera. 3 years later and it's still a dream to work with. There are other cameras out there that have a little more dynamic range, a little more pleasing image. There are dedicated video cameras that have ND filters and native XLR in. But when I look at the whole package, with medium/large sensor and a camera that does good stills and fantastic video, all the options that it has in video modes including 10 bit and full open gate 6K, plus the amazing image stabilization, this camera is just the perfect do everything camera.

For the price, it is great
We used it on our last production. Had been using a $20 app on an ipad, and it worked fine, but we had to wake up the ipad and keep it charged and it just became a hassle. So I purchased this and it does it's job well. Very sturdy and solid feeling. Only thing I'd like (but kind of a nit pick, so I won't take away a star) is a little more area around the bottom and right (when looking at it) side for your fingers so you don't wipe off your marks. But it really is a solid and reasonably priced little clapper.
