Check enclosed battery before installing.
The alarm works great, however it came with a battery that expired 11-2021, which I was not aware of. After installation it sounded off with a large horn alert, that I called 911, fearing that I had a gas leak. After firemen arrived they discovered there was no leak but that the battery had expired thus causing the alarm to go off.
