If you need a cheap wireless handheld, you need this one.
I bought this wireless mic so I could do some announcements and the like without having to drag cords around. It works great and doesn't drop out as long as there is a clear line of sight to the base. If you move around too much, or you are too far away, The signal drops out as the noise suppression kicks in. It is not a "pro" mic, but it gets the job done on the cheap. As long as you take care of it, it will take care of your voice.

Get one if it's cheaper than $150.
Works well for getting the "modern" bass drum sound. Very full body and tons of punch. Positioning can be backed off a bit and will allow you to get a more natural sound as well. Very versitile I can trust it for many sounds. Of course, you have to start out with a well tuned set and a good drummer, but assuming you have both of those things, this should be your next move.
