Gingher scissors
Ginghers are good quality scissors. This particular shear is very light weight and can not cut through heavy layers of fabric without difficulty. If you are using them for cutting through cotton material and pattern, they work fine. Nothing heavier. The scissors are inexpensive and therefore are not as impressive as their heavier models. I would recommend purchasing the heavier quality scissors if you do a lot of sewing.

Frustrated with new Garmin.
I have had a Garmin in the past and loved it. I decided to buy the new upgraded model and gave my old one to my daughter. The new one we just purchased does not show the upcoming street names like the old one did and when we put our home address in just to see how it works...it wants to take us an hour out of our way instead of directly home from town, which should only take 15 minutes. Frustrating.
