Not motorcraft.

This is an aftermarket solenoid marked "Accumax", NOT a ford motorcraft solenoid!

Wont work on fox body mustang 5.0

Not a direct fit for a fox body mustang 5.0 with stock T5 transmission. Diameter of pressure plate is too big so it rubs against the bellhousing; sounds almost like a blown motor. Had to grind down the edges to make it work. Engages fine & works well once modified, but Im sure warranty is gone now so Im stuck with it either way.
