Essential in the cockpit
Have been flying with this model RAM mounted on the co-pilot's yoke in a 182 for many years. Even with a Speck case, it allows my ipad 2 to go on and off easily. The mount is solid and well designed. Easy to position for best viewing angles. If you fly with an iPad, a mount is a cockpit essential and this one gets high marks from me.

Great add on for any flight sim
1 of 1 found this helpful I built my own sim and thought that this might be a nice add-on to the pc instrument displays. Not cheap, but I am glad I went ahead and bought it. I am very pleased with the functionality and quality. The display is very sharp and crisp, far better than I expected. It provides about a dozen different instrument selections with the ability to listen to navaids at the press of a buttom or easily adjust a heading bug or altimeter setting. No lag issues.
The set-up was fairly easy, but the operating instructions could be better. Also it is pretty tacky that they insert some Saitek ad panels when switching the display. If it doesn't boot up for you after driver and software installation, do a complete computer shut down and reboot. It should wake it up. The downside is that I like this one so much, I am now tempted to get a second one.
