Birds of Kauai book was perfect intro to looking for birds on Kauai!
I ordered the book before our vacation in Kauai. It was organized in its information including interesting facts about all types of native and introduced birds, those that are extinct and where to find the particular birds you might be interested in. The information was concise and easy to read. Types of birds were divided by sections and wonderful photographs and old plates of those birds thought to be extinct were included.
An enjoyable and informative read.

Ken Burns - The National Parks: America's Best Idea
I love this DVD set. I watched part of the on ETV and it was such a great work. It is amazing to see how our National Parks came to be and the forsight that many before us had to preserve these gems for the future generations. There is nothing better than being out in nature and the National Parks feature so much unique and wonderful territory in our country. What a great learning experience for everyone!
