even a beginner can get a neat finish on silicone sealant with this brilliant piece of kit
The product is adaptable and easy to use, with great demo videos available on the web. It's easy to clean off the sealant from the tool after use and the handy storage case helps ensure all parts stay together. Only difficulty encountered was the tool doesn't fit behind the bath taps.

New Toy
I'd always promised myself that if ever I had a big enough kitchen, I'd buy myself a food processor, and sure enough, it was one of my first accomplishments after a recent house move. I looked on ebay and found this super Kenwood for sale. According to the seller, it was a gift he'd given his wife which she had never used. Was she ever missing out?!? My winning bid meant I secured it for a fraction of the retail price. I unpacked it carefully - it certainly matched the description, all the attachments present and correct and still in their original wrapping. So far I've made some fabulous Victoria Sponge sandwich cakes (just put all the ingredients in, process for 5 seconds, use the spatula provided to stir the creamed mixture into the middle and process again for a further 5 seconds, then turn into prepared cake tins and bake). It really does 'take the ache out of baking a cake'. This Kenwood model also has a centrifugal juicer which made short work of the dessert apples from my own fruit trees, and of course the blender (delicious home-made soup!) and various other slicing/grating blades and attachments. The whole lot fits neatly in one drawer and most of the attachments go through the dishwasher. If you're hesitating over purchasing one, thinking you'll never use it, I'd suggest it might bring new delight to your kitchen experience if you've got a bit of spare space in your kitchen and like experimenting with new gadgets.
To summarise, I like the speed with which the Kenwood produces a delightfully light Victoria Sponge sandwich or scones; I like the versatility it offers; I like the practicality of being able to pop the attachments in the dishwasher after use. This is the only Food Processor I've owned so I can't offer any comparative remarks.
