Awesome distortion pedal
Found this pedal on an online distortion pedal shootout. It is awesome. Versatile, with incredible tone. At a lower gain setting it's a sweet overdrive, like a Klon clone. Adjusting the gain to heavy distortion it becomes thick and monstrous, yet it retains individual note clarity. Awesomely thick, but distinctly clean at the same time. This is something to behold. The sound is classic warm, killer with humbuckers but awfully nice with single coils as well. After 14 months of shutdown just gigged with it with my Strat and Marshall DSL100. Crowd complements were off the charts. Recommend it? I bought two. Maybe another one down the road.

My go to set
2 of 2 found this helpful Been using these strings since the 80s. As one famous player put it, I just don't want to work that hard. These strings are way easier to bend and manhandle than heavier sets. Great twang and harmonics. My only negative is that after fours hours rocking and sweating a club gig the fat strings lose some of that twang. Worth it in my book. Highly recommended for beginners who haven't built up their callouses, and for old timers with chronic soreness in their fingers and elbows. You'll be able to play longer, get better and have more fun!

Wow, what a difference!
I've owned my USA Fender Strat for 20 years, and have had trouble keeping it in tune (I'm kinda fanatical about tuning). Come to find out the sleeves through the head stock on some of my tuners had actually broken off. This is like getting a new guitar! If your strings are slipping even a little, try turning the hex nuts and see if yours are broken too.
