Old style pub glasses
1 of 1 found this helpful Havent used these, as they are Xmas presents, but took both out of their boxes to check them over after picking them up from local Argos store to see if they made the journey in one piece. They were well packed and the glass is of strong thick quality. I half expected the glass to be really thin, but wasnt disappointed. They are similar to the old pub pint glasses you used to get.
I would def recommend buying these. Well packaged and arrived quickly.

Not too bad.
Ive been wanting one of these for a while now as stripping wires is a chore for non electricians like me, who dabble with easy electrics but wouldnt tackle the big stuff.I saw this for under a tenner and thought id chance it. Amtech i believe are a uk supplier of tools usually good enough for the diy market. Anyway, there are better strippers out there, but will set you back double to 3 times the price of these. I have cut most wires with these and they do work quite well. I would imagine the professional sets are better but they do work well. I found that you do need to press them quite hard so it strips the wire and doesnt slide off. If you are doing lots of wiring then id say go to screwfix etc and buy the pro sets available, but for the occasional wire strip then these are good, especially for the money i paid.
