good design that works well with non genuine Elinchrom gear
1 of 1 found this helpful I thought I had a stuck/jammed reflector, there are no 'how to remove' instructions.
There is a small spring loaded lever that locks and releases attachments which isn't mentioned anywhere I looked.
Once I found it, all worked - not sure how long the lever will last but the brackets appear to be well made - time will tell.
A negative: I recently discovered that 'genuine' Elinchrom gear wont fit.
But Godox Elinchrom to Bowens adaptors do fit as they have thinner metal frame than genuine Elinchrom.
Bowens gear work fine in the adaptors.
So either buy the adaptors with this model or by the Bowens S bracket and use cheaper Bowens type gear.
Had I known I would have bought the Bowens model and an Elinchrom adaptor.

If you fill with sand it is VERY heavy, which is fine if you are not carrying it around.
Saw dust or rice is good enough to fill and is much lighter for carrying.

easy to use and inexpensive..
They work great on tables or benches with 'dog holes'... appears to suit 19mm - 3/4inch holes but do obviously fit into larger 20mm holes.
They should be rust proof due to being a synthetic material, but will burn...
