Given that the material of the book is very dark and cynical, the title fits the contents
Perfectly expresses Bierce's irreverent and cynical views of the human condition, but at the same time very humorous.

Ruger Red for a 10/22
There are better and more expensive triggers out there, but this one does a great job of lightening the pull weight resulting in better accuracy. This is the third one that I've installed on my Ruger 10/22's, and I'm happy with them. There is a slight amount of creep, but nothing that will disrupt your shot , and nothing close to what it was before installing these replacements. I'm sure a bench rest match shooter would not be happy with the Ruger Red, but these triggers greatly improve the accuracy of the 10/22 for the general shooter and hunter.
