O.K. but....

This is a useful tool which costs nothing to operate as it needs no internal battery to power the meter. The only problem I have found with it is that 'C' cells of some makes are so curved on the negative pole that the tester cannot make contact This is as much the fault of the cell as the tester. I have found that inserting a 5p coin between the two surfaces makes the circuit (though retaining the 5p in position needs constant attention.).
