Homely and time consuming to install, but functional
It's about what we expected, except I had hoped I could install it in the same cabinet holes as the previous one, but the back holes were closer together. Also there were only three plastic spacers to bring it below the cabinet overhang, and I needed four. I had to cut one of the spacers from the previous opener to bring it far enough down that the can opener lever could be raised enough to engage the can.
In addition, the previous B&D opener had a nice rounded, almost artsy look, whereas the new one is just a functional "box".
