Saved pair of boots.
My adult son used one boot to lever the other of his foot without loosening the laces enough. The one piece sole separated completely from the upper the full extent of the heel. Bought this stuff to repair, it worked a treat. The only advice I can add is it needed firmly clamped until it set. I had to buy a cheap G-Clamp and used a couple of bits of wood to do this. One piece inside boot and other on the outside of the heel to spread the pressure evenly. Guess you could use heavy weight or something, but my way worked really well.

4 Piece Combination Circlip Internal External Plier Snap Ring Tool Set

Good for occasional use.
Bought this to remove circlips when replacing broken door handle springs. I didn't want to spend a lot and this set fitted the bill. I would recommend them for a DIYer and occasional use. I'd probably spend more and get something stronger if I was using them every day. A great buy.
