Fantastic visual reference!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful In term of a visual reference and a book where the photographers have captured exciting air to air pictures of a fighter, this is one of the best ever! If you like the lines or the look of the F-14, this is the best visual book I have yet to see with large clear shots, mostly air to air, which is always a bit rarer than the usual ground shots. Nothing beats a fighter in the air, wheels up, in the environment they were meant to be! I was not even the biggest fan of the looks of the F-14, but this book made me buy a model kit of it, I was so impressed. The only negative would be, if your looking for explanations of every caption or a comprehensive history, you will have to look elsewhere. This is truly a "picture" book. The images will have to speak for themselves......but ...who cares! :)
