Simple and effective
This balancer is a very simple easy to use tool and being magnetic, there is virtually no friction to impede the balancing. It is a terrific tool

Excellent for sourdough
The bucket and lid are made of heavy plastic and the lid fits very well. It is an excellent bucket to use with sourdough . I hightly recommend it.
