170AH 12V AGM Deep Cycle Battery Golf Cart Buggy Camping Scooter Solar Battery

Smaller than "normal" with better features.

Firstly it is a non serviceable battery (no acid) so maintenance is minimal, secondly it is high capacity for size (170ah - normal for a battery of this dimension it would be 150ah) and thirdly it comes with an integrated lifting handle which makes shifting/carrying much easier. I was also impressed with the packaging of the battery particularly given the way transport companies are known to handle heavy objects. In summary, 4 of these were fitted to a golf cart so I know that they were shorter in height by about 23mm than those removed and 20ah greater in capacity. They were not weighed against those removed so I can't comment on the weight comparison. So far I have only about 4 weeks of use but at the end of 18 holes of golf with a normal load the batteries are registering better than 50% capacity remaining. Very happy with them and I believe they are an excellent replacement for "mainstream" battery brands.

Efficient Solar Pump

I am using this pump as a transfer pump not a fountain therefore flow is unrestricted.... My figures are: At a 900mm water head (water surface to outlet) it is pumping 2L/min (120L/hr) in direct clear sunshine. I am impressed by this. At a 300mm water head it is moving 4L/min (240L/hr). With the pump outlet at almost water level it will produce very close to it's design of 380L/hr. This, as a system, is very efficient buy be aware, once 2 strings of the solar panel are covered or the sun goes behind a cloud, the efficiency drops quite significantly. However, used as designed, in clear sunlight, it is very good and I recommend it highly.

HOB - Printed Switch - 35 Amp - Double Pole Switch Mech - CLIPSAL Compatible!

Certainly up to the task but be aware it is not 100% Clipsal compatible.

The switch is well constructed and perfectly suited for the task..however..buyers need to be aware that it is only Clipsal compatible if it is going into a standard single switch plate. It will not fit a Clipsal outlet such as a twin power outlet incorporating a hob isolating switch, without a slight modification to the mount plate.
