1 of 1 found this helpful The author does a great job explaining the issues prevalent during the peace process and really gets into the thinking that each of the leaders have. You will have an understanding of the personalities and activities of the peace conference participants that give you a feeling like you are right there in their midst. The geopolitical aims of the participants, the political rivalries, public opinion, the impact of past agreements, the atmosphere of Paris plus great quotes from the time period sprinkled throughout. This review is a bit premature since I am only 5 chapters in but its already a favorite of mine. This is a great read for anyone interested in history and politics.

Excellent Book
Dan Jones is informative and a great story teller. History buffs will love this book but so will anybody who likes a good story. Sometimes history is more interesting than anything a fiction writer can create and The Knights Templar and the era they lived in is one of those periods of time.
