It's caught plenty of beetles
This has caught plenty of beetles. There were about ten to twelve in each trap of affected hive. I only had to squash two this time when I opened hive. The plastic, however, is a little thin which makes re-use a delicate situation.

Great basic tool
This tool is perfect for just about any beekeeper using the Langstroth or similar beekeeping system.

2 of 2 found this helpful It takes about 9 minutes and 41 second to completely vaporize one gram of Oxalic acid. The battery clips should have stronger spring mechanism, as it sometimes fails to make a good connection. I would recommend it for a hobbyist beekeeper with up to five hives. For commercial or sideline bee keepers, I would recommend something more robust.
