Perfect for an intelligent 14 year old
Childish, stock characters, silly chase scene at the end. An attempt at an English mystery but, alas, not successful.

reat writing, lame ending
ambler is the best of the 20th C spy novelists. A real pleasure to read. Frigo is a little u usual in that it takes place in the caribbean and central america. The only reason not 5 stars is lame, unbelievable ending. It was as if just got tired of writing and hurriedly cooked up the ending.
