Tom Odell Jubilee Road CD NEW

Great vocals and lyrics

Tom Odell is a great singer/songwriter somewhat like Bob Dylan but with a much better voice. The title track is very good but the second track, If You Wanna Love Somebody, is the standout track and really showcases the power and range of his voice. This track alone makes it worth the cost of the CD but with all of the other tracks it is an absolute bargain. Half as Good as You, the duet with Alice Merton, has great harmonies and their voices complement each other in power and range extremely well. If you are into heavy metal, head banging music or wrap with unintelligible lyrics this album is probably not for you. It has a slightly bluesy feel to it with clean clear vocals and powerful lyrics. The more I listen to this CD the more I appreciate just how good it is. It is a great addition to my music collection. Do yourself a favour and get this CD for yourself or buy it for a special friend. You can't go wrong.
