Non genuine valve but fully compatible. I had to remove a mounting plate and replace it with the corresponding part from the original (defective) valve to enable installation on my particular model, but it's a simple process.
Likewise, the adapter plate for the electrical wiring had to be salvaged from the original valve and installed on the new part. Care is needed, but is doable. These same comments could well apply to a genuine valve. All in all I'm happy and the machine's again working well.
